Why it exists.
A layout needs real-looking text before the real text exists. This generator produces the familiar Latin-like filler used by designers for centuries, so you can judge line length, spacing and hierarchy without writing dummy copy by hand.
Choose a unit and a count, optionally start with the classic 'Lorem ipsum' opening, and regenerate until the shape feels right. The words come from a built-in word bank; no network request is made.

Is Lorem Ipsum real Latin?
Not exactly. It is a scrambled, altered excerpt from Cicero's De finibus bonorum et malorum, written in 45 BC. It is intentionally nonsensical so readers focus on layout instead of meaning.
Can I use the generated text in a commercial project?
Placeholder text is generally safe to use in mockups. Lorem Ipsum is part of the public cultural commons. It should not replace real product copy in a finished, published page.
