About this tool

Why it exists.

Working with clients or teams in other countries means asking, again and again, what time it will be for them. Daylight saving changes make the answer different at different times of year.

Pick your time zone, a date and a time, then add up to three other zones. The planner shows the local time and day in each place, whether it falls inside 09:00 to 18:00 and which hours of your day work for everyone. It uses your browser's time zone database, so daylight saving is handled for the date you choose.

How to use it.

  1. Choose your time zone, the date and the meeting time.
  2. Add one to three other time zones.
  3. Check each local time and the green overlap hours.

Good questions.

Does it handle daylight saving time?

Yes. The conversion uses the date you choose, so a meeting in March or October is converted with the right offset for each place.

How are good meeting hours decided?

An hour counts as good when it falls between 09:00 and 18:00 local time in every selected zone. Change the time zones to see how the overlap shifts.

Why might the day differ between places?

Time zones are far apart. A late evening meeting in Asia can be the same morning in the USA, or the day before, so the weekday is shown for each place.
